Watch your favorite films in full 3-D glory, the way they were meant to be experienced, with the Holomex DVD Hologram Projector. Accepting both standard DVD discs as well as specially designed Holodiscs, the Holomex can create 3-D holograms from standard 2-D films or project holographic images straight from a disc. Adjustable projection size allows for holograms to be created from as large as 7 feet high to as small as 4 inches. Special thermodynamic projecting keeps images clear even in bright rooms, although it's recommended to set up the projector in front of a light-colored wall for best effect. Optional Holodisc subscription service keeps you up to date with the latest 3-D adapted films every month.

While I was expecting life-like holograms to be projected from this device, what I got were fuzzy 3D projections that you could see right through. And that's with a Holodisc! When it projects a normal DVD it has trouble distinguishing the foreground from the background, oftentimes placing a tree in greater focus than a character. Work on the technology a bit before going to market next time, for all of our sakes.

The Holodiscs look GREAT on this thing, as long as you don't try to go too big with them (the edges blur when it's over 4 feet), but don't waste your time watching normal DVDs on this, they look terrible.

this was supposed to make movied 3d but it just like makes fuzzy images appear over the box, you cant touch them or anything which is pretty lame if you ask me, ill buy the next version when you can touch the images thatd be cool.

The xMac is a quantum leap in portability over the laptop. Just 1 millimeter thin, the 20 x 14-inch sheet includes an 18-inch monitor and CPU — all built out of flexible plastics and alloys so you can roll it up into a 14-inch-long cylinder. When you unroll it, the xMac automatically goes rigid (thanks to special polymers) and engages the kickstand. When it's time to travel again, three quick taps of the Escape key make it go all bendy.
